I have done this event for years now. As with every year, I have already purchased my own Electric Picnic ticket. I give the complementary ticket away to someone different every year. I don't profit from it. I also raise the funds myself and when I have the required amount I put it out to people to sponsor me. It is such a great event for great causes. Knowing people have sponsored me, drives me up the hills of Ballymore Eustace. Anything you could spare for these great causes would be much appreciated!Read More
Tour de Picnic, the annual charity cycle and run to Electric Picnic, is back for its tenth instalment and promises to be bigger and better than ever for 2018. Once again, Tour de Picnic will be collaborating with three worthy charities: ISPCC, The Jack & Jill Foundation and Headway Ireland and joined this year by proud sponsors, Irish Dairy #thecompletenatural, bringing the best recovery fuel along the journey. It’s a fantastic festival reward for an exhilarating challenge for very worthy causes. With your favourite festival at the finish line, #thecompletenatural Tour De Picnic participants cycle 80K or run 17K to the festival, testing their fitness whilst enjoying beautiful scenery. (Check out the route and itineraries in the additional information tab to the right!) You'll be entertained constantly throughout the journey with fitness partners FLYEfit warming you up, cooling you down and cheering you onward. The run is SOLD OUT but cyclists are still invited to sign up with a €50 deposit, securing your place on the cycle as well as your festival ticket. This is also counted towards your ultimate fundraising goal. Sign ups will raise a minimum of €395 for charity. Tour de Picnic includes: 1x Electric Picnic Ticket, Official TDP Jersey, Snacks & Water, Packed Lunch, Burger & Beer on Arrival, Baggage Transfer, Return Bus Ticket, Return Bike Transfer, and a tonne of new friends!Read More
